Why Do Designers Get it So Wrong When it Comes to Plus Sizes?

Most labels who specialise in designing clothing, for plus size women get it wrong. That's why most larger size woman wear what ever they can find that fits. Can you imagine having to buy your clothes just because they fit, and not because they are what you love want to wear pants suit your style?

For some reason, designers often make nice clothes in good styles for plus size women, and their muck it all up by using a large floral printed fabric. Just because someone is fat, doesn't mean they want to wear large floral prints.

How many designers are asking plus size women what they would like to wear? I must say things are getting a little better than they were years ago, but they still have a long way to go. And as there are more and more plus size woman as the population is getting more and more overweight, there is more money to be made from this clothing. Once the designers and the buyers start to get it right, then someone will make a great deal of money.

I can tell you exactly what larger size woman want in the way of clothing. They want exactly the same clothes in exactly the same fabrics is that everyone else wears. They don't want to look different, they want to look in style and up-to-date just like their thin friends. Designers will have to make tops longer, sleeve larger and maybe hemlines longer, but apart from this there is not much else to change. How easy would it be for manufacturers, to make another run with the same garments he has just run for the normal sizes, now in the plus sizes? It's all pretty easy really.
